It’s that time of the year again, when many of us are expecting house guest. Every season, I always like to add little luxurious touches, that always lets my guest know that, I was thinking about them upon their arrival. Since, our guest bathroom is right off the guest bath, I’ve decided to give you guys a 2for1. See the before of our guest bedroom, and bath.

Clean & Prep Bathroom
Prepping the guest bathroom shouldn’t take much time, since it’s only used on occasions. Give the guest bathroom a good deep cleaning. Wipe down all cabinetry, countertops, mirrors, any windows, floors, empty trash, clean the shower and bath. Luckily for me, I have a self cleaning toilet that only requires putting a capsule inside the back of the toilet to keep it fresh and clean with every flush, one less job for me!
These 100% Cotton Botanical Tapestry 4pc Bath TowelSet by Better Homes & Gardens are not only super soft and plush (online only) but they’re also thick, luxurious, and the design is timeless! The detail on the jacquard design has a full terry reverse on the back. The set includes two hand, and bath towels.

Personal Essentials For Guest
Extra bath towels are just a finger tip away, kept inside of the bathroom sink drawer for guests use as they wish. Better Homes & Gardens Glass Medium Bathroom Vanity Apothecary Jar, 1 Each ( in-store) is perfect for storing all of your needs. This glass jar makes it easy to see the contents.
Many of you may know that we were updating our guest bath, the reveal will be very soon. YAY!!!! My décor challenge was finding the perfect mirror, and the perfect size. WELP…I’ve found it! This Better Homes & Gardens 19×26 Beveled Mirror on Mirror (in-store only) is so beautiful. It’s 19″ x 26″ Beveled Mirror on Mirror which can be hung vertically or horizontally, and it’s super easy to hang with the attached hardware that comes with it.
Safety First! Be sure to keep your guest safe while they’re coming out of the shower. This Better Homes & Gardens Memory Foam Noodle Bath Mat, Artic White, 17″ x 23.5″ is luxury at its best. The mat is memory foam and quick drying, and its backed with slip resistant nonskid backing to help keep your bath mat in place.
Tooth brushes, shampoos, mini bottles of body wash is kept inside the top drawer in the guest bathroom sink. Be sure to stock up, keep essentials on hand when family or friends who are visiting needs it.
Freshen Up The Linens
Launder towels, sheets, and pillows before your guest arrives. My no fail little trick that keeps me guest ready… after washing your linens, store them inside of a bag, and toss a dryer sheet inside for added freshness.
Quilted bedding is something I’ve been using on our beds in our home for years. Living in Florida, our beds need to have layers. This Better Homes & Gardens Paisley Medallion King Quilt speaks for itself. It’s light enough for the summer, but heavy enough to keep you warm in the fall. It’s curvy edges feels super soft with the added extra look of luxury, the price is right!
There’s no limit to having not only affordable storage but, having this multi-purpose storage Better Homes & Gardens® Charleston Collection Underbed Storage Bags with Gray Handles is priceless. Weeks before guest arrive, I always wash and freshen up the linens then store them in a bag one-by-one. Now…I can put sheets, comforters, robes inside one bag. The great thing is that, I can store it under the bed. One less thing to do before guests arrive.
Light & Airy is my jam! I’ve added a pop of color with these grey fuzzy pillows. They’re Better Homes & Gardens Angora Decorative Throw Pillow, 18″ x 18″, Grey. Three are placed on the bed because, I’m extra. They’re online, and they come in other colors and… you will not believe the price. OMG!!!
Leave Space For Guest
You don’t want your guests to have to live out of their suitcases. Make sure you have enough space for your guest to put their things away in their designated area. Inside our guest room closet, there’s plenty of space for guest to hang their clothing, and space for their shoes. We, also have a safe for them to store their valuables away.
